Medigap Plan C pays for the following:
  • 100% of the Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • 100% of the Part B coinsurance and hospital costs
  • 100% of the cost of the first three pints of blood
  • 100% of the Part A hospice coinsurance or copayment
  • 100% of the Part A deductible
  • 100% of the Part B deductible
  • 100% of the skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 80% of the charges for emergencies in foreign travel

What Does Plan C Not Cover?

It does not pay for Part B excess charges.

Do keep in mind that Plan C is only available to those who became eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020!
