Medigap Plan F provides the most coverage of all Medigap plans and includes coverage for the following:
  • 100% of the Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
  • 100% of the Part B coinsurance and hospital costs
  • 100% of the cost of the first three pints of blood
  • 100% of the Part A hospice coinsurance or copayment
  • 100% of the Part A deductible
  • 100% of the Part B deductible and excess charges
  • 100% of the skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • 80% of the charges for emergencies in foreign travel

Please note that Plan F is not available for people turning 65 after January 1, 2020.

Also note that Plan F offers a high-deductible version in which you pay Medicare-covered costs up to $2,700 in 2023.
