Medigap Plan N pays the following, after Original Medicare has paid first:
100% of the Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
100% of the Part B coinsurance and hospital costs
100% of the cost of the first three pints of blood
100% of the Part A hospice coinsurance or copayment
100% of the Part A deductible
100% of the skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
80% of the charges for emergencies in foreign travel
What Does Plan N Not Cover?
The plan does not pay for:
Part B deductible
Part B excess charges
Keep in mind that Plan N may require you to pay up to a $20 copayment for office visits or a $50 copayment for emergency room visits.
